1969 Z/28 camaro research
« on: June 30, 2020, 01:38:14 PM »
I have a burnish brown 1969 Z/28 which was sold out is Ewing Chevrolet in Canton Ohio. I have researched it back to 1980 in Poland Ohio when it was owned by Duane Forsyth. Looking for any leads to previous owners from may/June 1969 to 1980. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried to get a copy of the MSO from MVD? Most times it doesn't work but I've heard some have had success. 1st assignment is on the back...Joe

Bet our cars are close in production. I have an 05A Burnished Brown Z. I have owned it since 78, and my search goes back to the guy I bought it from. When I recontacted him to ask where he got it from, he sai “I don’t know”. New York wasn’t a title state until 73. Good luck with your search.

I tracked my 69 L78 back to 77 in PA. Guy said he bought off some used car lot and cannot remember even which town it was. Been looking for 10 years. Best of luck to you guys.

I have tried the Ohio DMV with no luck. The car is an 05c car. Think this dealer ordered a few burnish brown cars, copo cars also. I talked to the salesman in charge then, but this car was ordered for stock and he doesn't remember who it was sold to. No records remain for the dealer. I guess I need to see if I can find someone from the area who might remember the car to develope a lead. Hoping something will develops from this post. Thanks for the responses.

If you share the VIN, that would help. It may be in the CRG database, held by just a few of the core members.
