10117709 rings
« on: April 03, 2018, 07:05:13 PM »
I have a set of 8 GM ring packages, #10117709. Would these be suitable for a street 427, with Sealed Power L2300NF30 pistons?
TIA, Jess

Have you looked up the specs and compared them to the pistons and the bore?

Actually researched them a bunch, can't find what I need to know. I cannot determine which ring goes in the top groove and which fits the second. No instructions on packages (they are blister packed, 8 sets, one per cylinder).  Just hoping someone may have some instruction sheets for them.  thanks   jess

Those are 1985-1990 rings (standard size) used on the 7.4L G engine, which was used on RV's with the 454W engine.
