1967 Golden Camaro show car / Camaro Californian

I found these color photos of the Camaro Californian at the 1967 New York Auto Show a while ago at the Petersen Digital Library but I'm not sure how I didn't add them to this thread.  Now I'm rectifying the situation.

You can really see the pearl in the yellow paint in these great color shots.

Here are a few more images of the Californian I had not seen before.  I believe the first photo was taken inside the East Exhibit Hall of the General Motors Building sometime between May 12th and May 24th of 1967 (see fourth photo of newspaper clipping).  In the third photo you can see the Golden Cameo and the Californian on the trailer just beyond the hood of the Cherokee Camaro.

This photo was taken at the 51st Detroit Auto Show.  This event took place November 26th through December 4th, 1966 at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan.  The vehicles in the background and the ceiling lights match the known photo of this event.

More evidence demonstrating that Chevrolet was still showing the Californian Camaro during the 1968 model year.  Notice that they were also displaying the Cherokee Camaro!  Both appeared along with the Monza GT in Hartford, Connecticut at the Chevy Show.  This took place at the Hartford Armory February 2-4, 1968.
