Center Dash Clock
« on: October 19, 2018, 02:20:27 AM »
I see cars with a center console that includes gauges, but no clock in the dash cluster.  I thought the clock came with the console gauge package.  Am I wrong, or was just the console gauges added to a non gauges car?

You're correct-U17 Special Instrumentation included a clock in the center of the instrument cluster.

Common to add gauges to a car not built with them and omit the clock. Also, common to have to replace the plastic housing. Repro housings have to be trimmed to mount the clock and some don't bother.

Thank you for the info.  I just added a clock to a '69 that already had the console gauges.  The wire harness was confusing so I didn't put it in. I have all the manuals just lost patience after 3 days under the dash replacing the dashpad.  Those damn clips!
