COPO 427 ad...
« on: February 26, 2007, 07:48:02 PM »
I found this in the local CT Bargain News...I have never seen one for sale, I wonder if it is original? You don't think "interesting trades" could be my wife for the car?

1969 CHEVY COPO 427 CAMARO,
fathom green, 4 spd, 411 gears, factory tach & gauges, original 21K mi, car straight rust free, body w/one repaint, mint orig, black int, orig motor, bought new at Malcom Konner Chevy in NJ for serious collector, $200,000 or interesting trades considered. (860) 585-6223 (10Xi). Bristol, CT

I am doing some research on this dealership now as I have some friends that I race with who were very close to this dealership during the late 1960's.  More later about that.  The bulding is still there under another name.

$200K, what a deal!  Would have to be the best one in the world for that price w/full paperwork.

Jerry,

I think we talked on the phone in December, I am Angelo D's friend, you helped us determine if the 67 I was looking at was the L30/M20 setup. It was and after Ang and I fished it out and dragged it home it is now in my garage! I think he is finally getting his Z into the shop...

Thanks,

Jarret

Jarret,

Great to hear!!  Will Ang be doing any racing this year?  I am trying to get my new 1967 Z28 Project Stocker on the track by mid summer.  Tell him I said hello.
