Radiator core support bushing replacement
« on: July 31, 2018, 12:53:29 AM »
I want to replace my bushings on the radiator core support and I want to know what i have to loosen or remove to move the core support high enough to be able to replace the bushings? do the fenders need removed or just loosened up?
Also thinking about grinding the one under the battery box off and re welding a new one on does anyone make just the bracket not the whole core support?

You may be able to jack the radiator support up off the subframe to replace the bushings, however you may encounter interference with the bumper brackets as they are mounted to the subframe and will not move when jacking the rad support fenders etc.
IF the front ones are bad... have you checked the other 4... you may run into panel alignment issues if you only replace 2.
