350 to 400 trans swap
« on: June 04, 2018, 07:28:38 PM »
Plan to install a bbc and 400 trans. Car currently has 350 trans. Does the driveshaft need to be changed? If so, to what length?

I know the yoke is different but I think the shaft will work.

400 trans is longer - plus the different yoke.

Is the cross member for a TH400 the same as the TH350?

No.  Unique tubular type cross member for the THM-400.  Mounts to the rear or the THM-350 position.
