My 67 SS RS camaro

Factory AC car, four speed m20, 3.31 12 bolt posi. Numbers do not match on engine and transmission, it is a 1970 350 4 bolt main, forged crank, forged pistons, balanced.  Heads are 461 casting 2.02 with 7/16 screw in studs, guideplates, stainless roller rockers, hydraulic roller cam. Distributor is converted to XRI ingnition.  Car is factory deluxe interior. Factory body color was butternut yellow with black vinyl top

Looks good. I see you have the vented oil fill and appears to be solid valve covers. Since the 70 block does not have the draft tube hole for ventilation how did you deal with that? Late models have the vent in the valve cover.

That's a great question and I will show you.  I got the 67 intake for free so I felt it didn't hurt anything to drill it

Never seen it done that way before. Looks really good.  I remember back when I was in training to be a wrench twister I replaced my 66 long block with a 68 from the scrap yard and kept my MT valve covers with no holes. Took me a while to fiquire out why it blew oil out of the gaskets and oil fill when I turned it. Broke one of the MTs cutting breather holes.
