1969 rear leaf spring cup front eye bolt & nut part#3892754 & 9417614

<< < (2/5) > >>

Edgemontvillage:
After reviewing this thread a conclusion would be the spring cup eye bolt, washers (2) and nut were all originally manganese phosphated for '69. I'd be interested in any other observations as only one CRG member provided a photo. The restoration parts suppliers sell this fastener in gold iridite or zinc.

I checked mine last night, appears to be phosphated originally...

Pacecar:
Don't mean to hijack topic but what about the rear end U Bolt nuts ? The ones on the U bolts that mount the springs & shackles to the rear axle. What finish on those ?
