68 Z alt bracket gt stamp

i think i finally found an original, looking for opinions, im assuming original due to the aged pitting in the gt ?

You could click on your Tx-Z 302 to go to your profile and then hit the icon to show your post or complete a search to find. I remembered it so just went to the 2nd page of Originality threads and there it was. No problem as I know I sure learned a lot and am still learning how to do something.

That looks like an original GM bracket but not for a '67-'68 Z. I think it was used on some later 409 engines and possibly something else like a '65 396. Both have the GT stamps but the 409 one is thicker above the adjusting slot and the Z bracket is thinner up there and more equal to the thickness below the slot.
