Odd that it wasn't built with the Z21 bright drip rail trim.

Probably 'restored' by the same shop that did their LS-6 Chevelle, long ago outed as a clone. Google the VIN: 136370R210143

Beat me to the punch Charley! Did a quick google search and found nothing. Time to open the vault. Someone here knows something!

Looks to be missing the under hood insulation as well, and the booster tag they have hanging on a brake line. I wonder what condition the car was in when they started?
Also I thought JohnZ car had a short spoiler, and was also a 2A car, right?

I don't like the tag or the engine pad.
Always question black cars, esp with all the options....

Looks like a chi-neez bracke booster, and upside down cowl induction seal, bogus anti freeze decal. Restored by armatures, YUK ,

Well it makes you wonder. If the tag is a repo, does that also led itself to the protect-o-plate, and the dealer invoice?

I am sure there are 10 10 cars that were ordered with some these options, but it does seem to good to be true, right?

Just wondering. Would under hood insulation be for air cars only, or was this a option for all cars?

I think you only got the under hood insulation if you got the ZL-2 hood (cowl induction) from the factory, or if you ordered the deluxe interior, then you also got the under hood insulation.
I didn't think air conditioning, or A.I.R. played into it.

Hood insulation was included w/SS or custom interior, I believe.

The invoice looked cool, I don’t know how to tell if it’s fake or not but it looked interesting with the approved credit stamp

Marked sold, somebody picked it off.

Dealer invoice looked a little too distressed for me. Funny how a lot of the window stickers and paperwork reproduced have similar patterns of Coke spills, tea stains, tears and bruises. Glove compartments must be war zones, second only to North Korean nuclear testing programs and missile launch sites.

Plus the fact both of my dealer invoices ('68 and '69, TN dealers both) list the Z28 package as "Special Performance Equipment". Odd -
