Thanx, I come on to try to get the feeling. I rather doubt ever posting about a new car I just bought, but ya never know I guess. Hoping to just not be living in my '96 4runner soon.  ha ha
Look at that beautiful 452 on the front valance!  :)  Chick, notice the battery ground on the rad support slightly eschew. Remember we talked about that. Also take a look at the solid rivet rad cap. This car is a couple weeks before mine. I remember talking to Steve S. at 2015 MCACN. I was pretty confident my car should have the open rivet. He said don't be too quick. And explained to me it was not a guarantee.
50th Anniversary this year. I wish I could go, greatest show EVER!! I can taste that pork chop at Gibson's!.. Danny

The 2nd owner bought the car when it was about a year old. -
He removed the shocks and smog almost immediately.

James, the front brake line brackets on sub-frame, hard to tell in your picture but do they have any remnants of black paint on them?
Thanks & great pics!

He probably just wants to get rid of those and send them to me.  Seriously, just great to see these kinds of cars.

Chick this is a Norwood car with black fuel pump plate, you had posed the question to Dave on the Yenko boards.

James, sorry but what I asked about was the "front brake line brackets on sub-frame, hard to tell in your picture but do they have any remnants of black paint on them?"

Amazing car. I will be following this while working on mine. Must've been a week long run on Lemans Blue Z's. Mine was produced the same week.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the upside down and backwards "3" in the partial block VIN. Pretty cool to see little mistakes like that from the factory. What a beauty this one is!

ZLP mentioned the upside down 3 earlier....   :)

This car is equipped identically to a lemans blue '68 Z28 I owned from 1974 to 1976, down to the Judson Electronic Magneto on the firewall!  :)     I even spent a little time trying to find old paperwork that had my VIN on it....  unsuccessfully!

That would be something, if it had been your car.

No, I didn't (and don't) think it was the one I owned, but I think it was built very close to that same date... (I kept the Judson when I traded mine - and used it on the '69 Z28 I traded it for)...   I think the blue Z28 pictured is nicer now than the one I owned back in '74-76, and certainly kept more original~  :)

note:   Judson labed that unit an 'electronic magneto'; it was actually a capacitive discharge (CD) unit on a big coil) but they worked great in the old days with a point car...
