Hi,
I'm getting ready to rebuild my motor. 68 396 / (325 I believe because of the my prefix). I haven't touched it in 21 years.
starting to puff at start-up (valve seals) and i'm pretty sure I have some bent pushrods (mechanic re-tightened 2 times loss of power evident).
I'm going to attempt a back to orig. restoration. I have the orig.intake #3883948(came in trunk) according to prev. owner.
Is there some one who will do this around NW Pennsylvania? I know most of the local re-builders and a few that want to do it but I really would like to do this right.
 Any tips would be appreciated.

We specialize in this type of engine restoration and rebuild.  Check out our web site, www.z28camaro.com.  We can dyno your motor too when we're done, and we're not that far from you.  N/W of Baltimore, MD.
