What do you make of this ebay listing?

Just spotted this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/142417957497

Seller's description:

Sounds like seller is offering two V8 VIN plates to me.....

IMO "2 more Z/28 clones coming up"

(or insert your own (L78), SS, )

Basically those tags are going to be put with dynacorn, or other used shells, and sold to unsuspecting buyers. Would have been nice for him to post the vin numbers so Kurt and co. could have them in the database when they resurface. ( I will send an email and see if he will release them)

The listing ended.

When I was a kid in the 70's, my neighbors were adults. One of them restored Z10 and Z11 Camaro's. 20 years later, he told me that a potential buyer took one of the cars for a test drive. The buyer complained about some sort of noise coming from the back of the car. The neighbor got out to check and the buyer drove away in the car. The neighbor never saw the car again. Every time I see one of these trim tag sales, I think of that story.
