What is the cut slot on the left side?  Any markings on the back side?

It looks like it is cut in front of the latch support only and does not go around it like a 67-68.

Also, it looks like it does not go up on the wheel wells or over the top of the shocks. It also doesn't look like it goes over the "bumps" in the back of the trunk....

Do you have a shot of an original one in the trunk so I can see exactly where it lies?

Do these help you? Are you trying to cut a reproduction mat to fit like an original? I haven't found a decent repro.

Please email if you need specific pics.

Yes, I am trying to cut my repro to properly fit the trunk the way the originals did.... those pics help a lot.... especially around the back.....

Now to figure out how to cut that thick mat without putting a razor through my hand (again).

There were originally 12 trunk mats used in the first generation Camaro!

7663177 - 1967 Coupe without N65
7728644 - 1967 Coupe with N65
7689199 - 1967 Convertible without N65
7728646 - 1967 Convertible with N65
7779677 - 1968 Coupe without N65
7779681 - 1968 Coupe with N65
7779679 - 1968 Convertible without N65
7779683 - 1968 Convertible with N65
8738793 - 1969 Coupe without N65
8738795 - 1969 Coupe with N65
8738794 - 1969 Convertible without N65
8738796 - 1969 Convertible with N65

Each had its own configuration for cut-outs, depth, overhang, etc... ALL of them had been discontinued by the early 1970's but I can remember walking into my Chevrolet dealer in early 1981 and they still had ONE on the books under a different part number. It was a "catch all" for the Camaro and Nova. It fit, but you had to hack the he!! out of it!!
