Seems like this info was previously known?

Is there any further breakdown of RS Z/28's

Or Z/28 by color?

I have seen the estimates, just not sure if there are hard numbers, thanks

I looked when you first posted to see if I could help with the RS Z28 data or the Z28 color breakdown. Unfortunately the data for that is not granular enough and there Is no usage data for the multitude of Z22 ECL codes with the exception of how may coupes and how many convertibles. As far as exterior paint, there is no breakdown for Z28 just a general breakdown of each color code for Camaros as a whole.

Doug, there is a color category called "Special and Prime" but it's for all 67' Camaros, not specific to Z's.

Paul, as Byron asked do you have the same breakdown for 68 Z/28's you had for the 67 Z/28. I would imagine the numbers for air cowl plenum and/or header orders would be fairly low.

It's from an unpublished trend book that was shared only with a few GM Execs. I believe one of those Retired Execs last year sold a copy and now a few others have that information. Pretty sure NCRS has it all, but no one is sharing any of the information for the most part.
Yes I have that data for 68's', The 69 Camaro information is only through the end of August so it was not final data.
The Book encompasses all Chevrolet Models dating back to the mid 50's through 1969. There is limited 1970 information through only March.
The biggest issue is that often times the ECL codes are listed with individual production information but there is no usage column stating when that ECL code was used
As an example, 1968 Camaro under Z22  lists in parenthesis 108 ECL codes with 40,977 units produced. No listing of each ECL code. Under ZJ9 there's only 4 ECL codes, each is listed with production on each ECL but no explanation of when they are used. I think you understand.

What kind of insight does it provide for 69?
X33 , X77 , X11, X55 etc. production numbers?

Z/28 with RS option production totals?

No, these were not options, so they are not listed. Their components would be listed.
Are you asking me again about Z28 RS combined data lol

Engines, trans and many engine trans combinations also. However sometimes they combine so you cannot calculate individual combinations.
As an example, 1968 Camaro 396: 325 & 350 HP show a total of 229 3-spds used between both of them so we don't know how mnay for each. However, sometimes when you look at the 3-Spd option code, it will have engine usage broken down further.

Paul, does it show the breakdown on engine usage between Coupes and Convertibles? For example, the 1968 L89. Does it show the number of Coupe vs Convertible applications? It's always been "assumed" that of the 272 L89 engines, approx 20 were installed in Convertibles and the rest in Coupes.

Well, under L89 there is only 1 ECL code and it lists 272 Units. It states, used with L78 and L78 shows
4 ECL codes with no usage data.

I checked on the combined Z28/RS data for 69, nothing , in fact they list less ECL codes in 69 and just show a number for total ECL's and total units produced for many options.

There's around 10 if I remember correctly. Of those, I believe 3 are Convertibles.

Is yours one of the 3 or 10?  Did it have original docs or engine?  Sorry for all the questions but I would like to add it to my database/registry.

Nope, options only. If an engine was a way to identify a model and that engine was specific to the that model or perhaps an option that was specific to only Z10's there may be a work around that way.

Z10 was an option in 69, same as Z11. Both required other options (RS, SS, etc).

Well perhaps GM thought of those as non-standard models because they do have the Z28, Z22, but no Z10 or Z11 and they also don't list the COPO #'s......although they do have some stranger COPO items listed like for 69: ZV7: COPO Transmission M21 or ZP1 C.O.P.O Tires but no 9511, 9560, etc.
Strange......
