I want to see the paint on the LB vert before and after.  I assume that is the one you are working on..??..

we clay barred half the deck lid and Meguires #7  it, the metallics just do not hold as well as solids. It is beginning to take a gloss though.

I know exactly what you mean.  I battled the green paint and you can still see the micro checking in the paint with a magnifier..  All I can do is let the #7 soak for several days at a time and hope it wont get worse.
