Happy 4th to all you guys.  Probably won't be taking the car out today with the heat and smoke from wildfires all over the place here in California.

Didn't realize you had many wild fires up your way. No fireworks because it is so dry up there?

3 House fires ( 1 of which attributed to a firework) 1 large grass fire in the last 13 hours. Been busy up here in Lorain. No rain predicted North of 76, we need some. Just did a PR interview Thursday pertaining to the use of fireworks and the dry weather.

Have a happy Independence Day!  Keep a hose handy just in case :)

The Trailhead fire around Foresthill is only about 30 miles away.  It's only about 25% contained.  Yes, fireworks were banned for the general public.  They do allow the professional pyrotechnic experts to set them off at our local fairgrounds.  The kind that explode in the sky.
