Hey Steve, I can't comment on the stamp but shouldn't there be a pipe plug above the timing cover?
My DZ is 2 days from cast to assembly. I 10 8 to 0912DZ.

Wow, cast the day before it was assembled? Would that normal for a DZ? There's a couple things I don't like about it, but I'm not a stamp expert so I'll leave it alone.
Would it be safe to say that any of the Tonawanda cast, Flint built 302's would NOT be built 1 day after casting?
Does the CRG have any evidence of Tonawanda blocks being machined and assembled at Flint early in the model year?

This block isn't real, so .....
There have been a few 388 (Tonawanda) cast blocks, assembled in Flint for Z28 application(DZ). Not sure why or how this happened.
