I am still here, just very busy sorry guys.  Haven't touched it yet because we also got a 73 vette with the find/purchase that Im cleaning up to flip to get the $$ to buy z28 parts  ;D  NOS parts are 2 qtrs, 2 frt fenders, rear deck lid, a cowl induction air cleaner, snorkle, and sleeve.  Body wise, it only really needs a right rear qtr so ill be saving the original sheet metal and repairing the common small rust spots in the bottom of the qtrs and fenders.  Vinyl top created some rust around the windshield area.  Doors are stripped of paint years ago and the left rear qtr is off.  How do you post pics, it says my attachments are too large?

Bruce:  There are size limitations to each image (200 kb), and to the total images in a single post (500 kb), so generally one has to use some software to reduce the *file size* (Note, the limitation is on the FILE size, not the actual image size).  Several ways to reduce the file size of a digital image:
1) Use of JPEG- of course most images we deal with today are already Jpeg, but you should check this.. Generally converting to JPEG will reduce the typical file size by a factor or 3-4 without visible loss of image quality or size.
2)  Reduction of the size of the image (ie. from 3000x4000, to something more appropriate to a screen.. maybe 800x1000 or so?).  I think even PAINT will do this... and of course any decent image proc software will allow all of this.
3)  Use of a file size reducer (I like  'Light Image Resizer' which you can download from here )- http://download.cnet.com/Light-Image-Resizer/3000-12511_4-10529104.html
Light Image Resizer works on already JPEG'ed file, by selecting more optimum JPEG factors to gain further reduction.  The user gets to specify 'how much' reduction they desire.  Just compare the file size before and after use a few times to determine how much reduction you need.

Light Image Resizer works great and is what I use.

Gary, you are right - Paint will do this and it's very easy to use. I think I change pixels to like 800 or something to get the file size where it needs to be.

Did you review your part #'s of what you have or need? Even some of the small brackets can be difficult to find. My build thread has a lot of information on parts both original and service replacements (link below my name). Sounds like a unmolested car so anxiously awaiting more detail on the car and Pictures.

Welcome to the site, priceless info here to aid in your resto project. Shoot pics, and lots of them for your documentation records. Keep an eye out for codes stamped in your oe sheet metal. Doing some searching here will point you in the right direction. Nice color, should make the lines pop when its done.
