Bolt for heater hose clip in alternator
« on: May 07, 2016, 12:50:37 PM »
I am looking for the bolt that goes in the alternator bracket that holds the heater hose clip. Mine was gone. It looks like a recessed head and a self tapping thread.  Amk does not have this bolt and was wondering if anyone ran across it use someplace else? It looks like a smaller version have a brake line bolt

I have searched for several different names for the bracket  and never saw this.  Thanks buddy.
The interesting thing,  I have 2 pictures that look like phosphate bolts. Any opinions or pictures?

I don't see a self tapping starter thread in that picture with the bolt and bracket. Maybe it's just not in the field of view? I found a recessed head RWB original bolt in my bolt bin but it doesn't have the tapered and slit end. It looks like the one pictured.

I looked up the paragon bolt, part number 1189k, and the picture is small. I couldn't tell if it's self tapping.  I guess I could cut that myself. There's like 7 in their kit, so a  few  to practice on!

Sorry, Bill, I'm 3 hours away from my car so I can't answer your question right now

Sure is. It's an "E". Here's a couple pics.
