here is a 67 Camaro shown with Bob Wingate's special order FSO 67 Corvette (1967 pics)
not sure what color it was as the pics are in B&W
http://www.67fso.com/

Hard to tell but it does look like the normal Corvette color - Goodwood Green - to me.

Any idea why the FSO designation?  Maybe for the stripe?

Nice 67 Camaro SS 350 in one of the pics.  Might be white.

according to this article, Bob had two different 67 Corvettes

I'm not sure if its all correct but is an interesting story

http://www.superchevy.com/features/vemp-0604-bob-wingate-fso-corvettes/

quote from above article...
"This first "special" car was built around August 1966. It was a '67 coupe with flared wheelwells, candy-apple-green paint, a light-blue Stinger stripe (a favorite styling cue of Wingate's), a tube grille, smoothed-in front turn signals, and a few other special features that weren't on the options list. Later, after the car had been delivered, some GM personnel saw it during a trip to California. One of them suggested it might not be a great idea to have Wingate running around in what was essentially a show car. They decided to build him a replacement that was a little closer to factory specs."

I think you are right JoeC. I think this is the second car. The first car had smoothed area around front turn signals. This one appears factory and surely looks to be Goodwood Green.

That picture is showing you the partial VIN on the cowl, and the original green color under the red re-paint.

What's the cooler for?
