I'm a history buff and visited the Stones River battle field after reading 'No Better Place To Die, The Battle of Stones River'. I always liked the Tn. countryside.

Coming from south of Knoxville. How early will they let us in?

Thanks Mike, I'll looked that book up on Amazon.  "Traces the chain of events as the Army of the Cumberland and the Army of Tennessee meet in Middle Tennessee on New Year's Eve 1982 in one of the bloodiest encounters of the Civil War.:o

172 miles from Loudon TN. I'm a morning person, but I don't think I'll be there at 6am. :)

My eyes got me again...  i read your post as 'south of Nashville'.. :)    Yep, Loudon (and Knoxville) are way east... :)  I hope we get a chance to say Hello at the meet.  I usually find Darrell's and Steve's booths and BS for awhile.  Make sure to tell those guys who you are so maybe we can all meet up.. :)

Trips were probably due to the old hound dog taking naps in the truck cab. Those weren't barks we heard, just snoring -

All in all, a great meet, well attended both by vendors and the public. Weather was cooperative as well - hope we are as lucky next year -

Steve

Well, the game is over... Denver's defense overwhelmed the Panthers... and I just came online to see what's been happening here today.

Darrell- go ahead and use the part; we'll work out something sometime.. :)

Steve, Sport..  it was good to see you fellas again. and Bryan30 too.. :)

and my knees and feet are killing me from 6 hrs walking on that concrete this morning.. :)  and didn't find any parts either...   (but I seldom do anymore - I've been buying parts for my cars for 40 yrs!).. :)

Great to have seen everyone again, Steve, Darrell and Gary.  Good to hear everyone is back home safe.  Well, you camaro blood hounds did a pretty good job, but I made a few good scores, and made a nice find from a vendors home, to be sent in the parcel system, well worth the trip.  Look forward to next year.
