Looks like you got some good info on tires to use. I think the American 200-S wheels are a great choice also.

Alright- I ordered up some 265/50/15s and got them mounted up today. Also, got the rear window in and the straps fabbed up and put on- turned out pretty good. Really diggin' the new front tires, just wish the front end would settle down a bit. Maybe I'll raise the rear end back up an inch. Passenger side front sits higher than the driver side and the rear passenger side sits lower than the drivers rear... all new poly bushings and swapped original rear springs side to side. oh well good enough for now.

Looks like a good size rear tire for the car. The back seems a bit high but maybe it's the angle of the photo that makes it look that way. The rear window straps and gas filler look good.

I found some cheap used 200s copies (aluminum centers with steel hoops). 15x7 front and 15x8 rear- same tires as before. Pictures aren't the greatest, but take a look and see if you guys think this is a little more period looking. I may put some 1" spacers out back to get the flare a little more filled up- we'll see

That looks a lot better!  I would not move them out any more or it will start to look like a drag car.

I got my retro style Kirkey seat mounted and got my headlight covers and front spoiler on this weekend. Next up will be a custom wiring harness to feed the bare essentials and then I should be pretty close to test drive time.

Yes, but not that it matters that much on that car... :)

Well he is trying to make it look like a vintage racer, so every little bit helps... ;)

(Of corse a silver grill would also make it look more the part, since no Z ever had a black grill.)
