67 ac car fast idle switch

did the 67 350 with factory ac have a fast idle solenoid switch to increase the idle when compressor kicks on? if so, where can I find one? thx

No. Hot idle compensation was built into the carburetor. Also the idle rpm setting procedure is different for AC cars. You set the idle with the air conditioning compressor on. The AC system in 1967 Camaros anticipated that the compressor would be on most of the time as it is a blended air system where the cold air from the evaporator and the hot air from the heater core is blended to provide the correct temperature. This type of system is no longer used for mileage and efficiency reasons.

You can add a fast idle switch if you like. Might be good idea if you don't like the faster idle when the compressor is not on. You will need to retrofit a switch from a later car or find an aftermarket one that will work and wire it accordingly being aware of the diode in the compressor circuit.
