My original does not have a hole on the top left. Only round on top right. Maybe someone drilled that left hole incorrectly.

That is correct, one hole.

I've derusted my door and still plan to paint it, (I assume to be original). And the holes on my door don't match either the license plate nor the new frame I bought.

Thanks - Andy

Andy,

Out of curiosity, is your plate carrier stamped with the part number (like right in the middle of the plate ?).

Mine has the one top hole stamped slightly towards the center, with the part number stamped in the center of the plate holder -

Steve

Steve - My car is at the paint shop, but I will check it tomorrow. I didn't notice a part number, but I wasn't looking for one either.

Thanks - Andy

Steve - pic attached. Number stamped in the middle of the door, a little sandpaper to uncover it.

Do you have the two holes at the top of the plate holder?

Thanks - Andy
