I had temporary taken out console and Muncie six years ago and installed 350 auto. If my memory is correct a previous owner had replaced the boot with flat piece of rubber that laid on top of the shifter hole down inside console. But I'll look through my boxes and see what I can find.

That link has a good shot of a non console boot but I wonder how much different the console boot may have been, if it was different.
