funny, that cowl seal looks identical to the way mine sits. I know Gary has stated it is incorrect, but I still see survivor cars with it this way. 
Absolutely incorrect! It's inside out and upside down..
Of course, I can't tell you that is the original put on incorrectly by a factory worker, OR if it was a '70's replacement installed incorrectly by the owner at the time.
