Hello guys and thanks for the replies !
@69Z28-RS (Gary): that's in fact the only picture I have from my father's car, and he sold the car 3 years before I was born ! This picture was taken in October 1970, in a place called "Monts-Valin" and it's about 1 hour drive, north of a city called "Chicoutimi", and it's where I was born and raise (Chicoutimi).
On this Mountain (Monts-valin), snow appears mostly in October, very early compare with the rest of the province of Quebec, so it's a very popular place for Snowmobile, downhill/crosscountry ski or snow shoes walk. Unfortunately, my father don't remember what was the tires on the car originally, and don't remember as well if he was putting snow tires on his car back then, like we do on our cars today. I believe the common practice was to put 2 winter tires on the rear wheels only, with few sandbags in the truck to improve traction !
So I cannot even tell if the tires on this pictures we're the originals ones, or some winter tires. The original hubcap seems to be removed....that's all I know, and my father remember that he never had those Poverty dog dish (Daytona yellow rim) on his car.....that's all he can remember by now so far !
@abiddle: it's nice that you found those on eBay, but I think I'll keep mine like it is, bone stock. My father added hisself, this fog lamp kit, hood lock and this "unique" strip on his hood as well, but I prefer to go OEM as much as possible. Now I do have found a set of original FC Coded 14x6 wheels, and a set of NOS P-01 hubcaps, I'm just wondering which brand/model of F70-14 tires I'll put on the car.
