69 SS350 CHQ template for 350 emblems
« on: May 17, 2016, 03:04:53 PM »
My camaro is in the restoration shop, and one of the issues is that the fenders were from a Z28. So I bought the templates to correctly position the emblems. According to the template, the 350 emblem can either be aligned with the side marker or just below it - either placement is correct.

Is there a consensus on which placement is more correct? :)

Thanks - Andy

Personally I prefer the emblem in alignment, however if I had a car with original panels and they were below I would do them below.

Aligned is what I've always seen.

At the paint shop yesterday, found that the second fender is not from a Z28 and had the original SS holes welded closed. Those holes were aligned with the side marker. So we will align the holes on both sides using the marker, and I agree it looks better to me.

Thanks - Andy
