Caveat Emptor..another
« on: September 05, 2015, 12:19:57 AM »
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Camaro-ss396-/111763396375?forcerrptr=true&hash=item1a059e1717&item=111763396375

Ad states the car has the original window sticker and shippers' copy. Both are bad repros, several ECL errors. Also the body number on the tag does not match the number on the fake docs.

Best of all, they misspelled Los Angeles ::)

I guess the same person that misspelled Los Angeles on the window sticker also misspelled Nevada and Polyglas in the ad.

He contacted the guy he got the car from and the guy told him it was no different than a Marti Report. He is going to change the ad. I explained that a Marti report was based on real records and not just a fabbed up paper.

If the current ad is what he changed he could care less. Says if you don't like it keep it to yourself.  Nice guy

Was there really a Fletcher Jones Chevrolet back in the day?
There is a Fletcher Jones dealership near me, but it's Mercedes. Maybe related?

Yes, Fletcher Jones Chevrolet was the Chevy Dealer in Vegas and I think in SoCal as well. The old man always had an animal with him when he did commercials. And they sold imports as well.  And still do.

"If you want a better car GO SEE CAL"
The most iconic and classic car dealer ad came from Cal:

It's back. Same fake paperwork from the 2015 ad. Many obvious errors on the Car Shipper.
