baldwin motion stripes
« on: March 11, 2015, 12:50:32 AM »
hi guys, i am new to the site ,but not to camaro's. i have had my 68 ss since 92 and i am in the middle of doing over a 69 . this one was a shell when i brought her home seven years ago.i have gone through a lot of different paint scheme ideas until about a month ago i decided to go with  a motion paint job. i have since purchased a l88 hood and have looked at numerous photos, spoke to as many body guys as i could think of ,even did a search here but cannot find specs on the rear wrap around or single stripe down the middle. any suggestions that i haven't mentioned would be greatly appreciated.   thanks  dave

Since the paint scheme you are looking for was not factory, you probably won't find any exact dimension specs.

You could check out some old car magazines from "back in the day" to get an idea of dimensions.
Bryon / 1968 Camaro SS 396 coupe - now old school 468 big block
1967 Camaro RS/SS 396 coupe L35/M40 - 4 generation family project
Looking for 68 Camaro with body # NOR 181016

Most all them differ and it depends on what you like...The phase 3 cars were striped like the green Mexican car to let everyone know it had the L88 installed....
