AC Delco Brake Hub & Rotor 177-567
« on: February 17, 2015, 12:03:16 AM »
I have an unopened AC Delco Brake Hub and Rotor designated  2620660 on one side and an AC Delco 177-567 on the other.   Contacted AC Delco and got the usual run around  duhhhhhhhhhh   not listed any more !!!!   Typical current US business acuity.  Does anyone have any good info on this item?  I suspect that this may be an original GM two piece unit for 67 68 and some early 69 Camaros.  Got this idea from a posting on some old web posting from 2009, I think.  It was alleged that someone sold a NOS pair of these for more than $1,000.  That tidbit alone is enough to create my interest in finding out what I really have?
Help Anyone !!!

Yes, William is correct. I too worked in parts at dealers and the aftermarket.Lots of numbers are discontinued, obsolete, etc. You don't stock what does not sell.  As to your question it looks like that part is for 67-69 Camaro and several other GM vehicles. Is the actual part one piece or is it bolted together?  Remember, Google is your friend. Jim

I am not going to open the box until and unless I know what it really is.   I want to keep its NOS integrity in tact till I decide what to do with it.  Oh, and by the way, fact or not, you all miss the real point of my comments.

I believe you have the later one piece rotor/hub assy. GM part number from my 5-80 GM catalogue is 3901098.This part number is for w/disc; w/hub; front disc w/o rear disc. I think the earlier posting you refer to was on team Camaro and they were indeed two piece rotor/hub assemblies. Your p/n is a later one piece design as far as I can tell. I did find a picture of the one piece assy. referencing your part number (ebay131386497237). Jim

Opening the box does not decrease the value. Noone wants to buy without seeing the goods.
Not surprising that AC Delco wouldn't have info - they  stopped making that part many years/decades ago.

I deleted the non-relevant posts. No call for attitude on this forum.

Try Goggle and some of the other search engines and see how many hits you get.

Thanks Kurt, I definitely agree that some of that was way off base................. This site has so much good info from true car guys that there is no reason to muddy it up with that kind of crap.

For your viewing pleasure, there's one that's been listed on eBay for awhile now.  With repops now available, the people looking for NOS at that price is a limited group.  They were also used on some Olds, Pontiac, etc.

I wish someone would just repop the discs themselves, I have several good original hubs in my parts.
