World 600 pace car picture: LeeRoy Yarbrough won that race in a Junior Johnson Mercury and the purse was $132,110. His cut was $29,325.
Best Chevrolet finish was Friday Hassler in ninth place with engine trouble.

The Pace car pic has some interesting things in it (if you can tear you eyes away from the candy :)).  The D90 stripe appears to be wavy from the factory, when the side decal (I assume a decal instead pf paint because of the rippling above the rear wheel well) was installed, they followed the wave on the front fender, which really highlighted the wave.  CB antenna mount on the trunk lid, trim rings with dog dish wheels.  And what is that black tape thing on the peak of the hood? a wind string?

2 blondes, a redhead and a brunette, the marketing dept was working it! :)

At least the video had a Ford chasing after a Chevy  ;D .... cool Vid.  Btw.. wouldn't that be something to stumble across that old Yenko car carrier in some over grown field,  I'd be taking that door off it's hinges  :)

Gary, that lucky guy is Dick Guldstrand at Riverside in 1970.

:)  OK..  I can now see a little resemblance, although this may be the youngest pix I've seen of Dick.  He looked much different these past 20 or 30 yrs.. :)

There's A Similar Picture To Guldstrand with The Union 76 Girls, But With One Of The Chaparral Camaros From 1970, Same Location At Riverside I Think. Would Post It Here But Cannot Seem To Do So. O.K First Time For Everything ! ;D
