What changed on the 67-8  aftermarket shifter?

--- End quote ---

The original 67-68 Camaro Hurst aftermarket shifter has a two piece welded neck
Then in about 1969 they changed to a stamp steel neck and used it for 67-69 Camaros and still use today
now you get same shifter for 67-69 but 69 uses a different stick

The original Camaro Hurst used a curved stick and shifter is silver cad
I have an original with the stick and have the original install sheet that shows it
It was also shown in the 1967 Camaro Hot Rod Magazine article where they claimed it was the first Camaro to get a Hurst shifter

That article inspired my search to find one ,was hard to find as not many around anymore

Shadow Ahead:
Does the install sheet show any materials/processes used or only how to install?

Steve

JoeC:
instruction sheet shows contents, part numbers, assembly drawing and info

does not say what finish was used

^ Thanks.

Steve
