Me too,

I think my street driveabilty may be hampered by the fact that X-ram has single-squirter 4210s on it.

If too much fuel is a concern-rejet the carbs for a more friendly street use and if you use a point and condenser dist system, recurve the dist and adjust the timing accordingly. I am a retired 35 year tech and came from the age of all these goodies- we used the fuelys and i had several 2 fours set ups and also a manafree( 4 duces)  and used these for every day driving and also crusing. just another word to the warning- check oil for gas in crankcase -change it more often.  you can have the fun of it all , just use common sense
