Hello Rick92, I am new here since about Nov. 2014 and have just read your post. Do you have any pictures of the car in it's drag racing glory. I am from the area and have frequented Famoso for over forty years, having three 67 Camaros and one of them being run there on many, many occasions, maybe I can help you with a previous owner. I do not know your location but as you may know, racers come from many directions to get to this track. If it was a local that frequented often, maybe with my feelers and some of my contacts we can narrow this down to a prevoius owner. I have done this on another occasion with another Camaro that was local and run down this track. The current owner is from Porterville and the owner of the car in the 70's was from Lindsay, 10 miles to the north. If the car was from Kern County or Tulare County, good chances of making contact with a previous owner, we all know each other through different channels.  Give a shout out!!!
