Hi,

We are restoring a 12-68 norwood built 69 SS350 fact A/C 4spd. Does anyone know for sure did a/c cars have A.I.R or not. I've been told all 4Spds had A.I.R but I'm thinking they didnt put it on a/c cars due to the power loss ?

1967-69 Camaro Emission Systems

In 1968 and 1969, the California and federal emissions requirements were the same and all cars were built to the same 50-state standard. The AIR system was installed on all L6 cars with manual transmissions, all small blocks with manual transmissions, and all Camaros with big blocks.
