Lakeholme Thanks for posting, great looking cars, I will have to check out AACA events. Do they ever come to the midwest area?   George

like most such organizational shows, if you aren't an AACA member, you probably don't know about their events...  I've been thinking about joining AACA for years..    maybe it's getting to be that time.. :)

Gary
You can join for half price since it's after June 1. Call AACA HQ and ask for Karen, she will take your credit card. 717-534-1910
Gary,
Just say the word...
I think Gary finally has a good point and agree with him..... :) I need to get involved in this as well!

Them's the rules, no fire extinguisher you don't get on the field.

Yep, dems da rules... And it's actually a good idea to carry one in every car.
There's a little box that has to be checked on the judging sheet. and it does have to be charged.
BTW, the first time you run over one under your wheel, you realize it is better to put it beside the wheel or someplace noticeable in the car (like the trunk).

Jimmy I thought that was your Z! You don't see many with the white vinyl top. Maybe you have the only non-RS Garnet Red with white?

Phillip, approximately how many first gens were at the show?

AACA Grand National meet is always a "must see"!  Muscle cars are becoming more & more popular there.  Also, even if you don't have a particular interest in the brass era cars - you'll appreciate the incredible level of detail & workmanship.  Next year it's going to be in AZ, so the participation will probably be down a bit - the membership is not as heavily concentrated out west.  They try to move it around the country so that everyone is within reasonable driving distance at some point.  It's a very friendly group of car people!
Chick - you'll be in the Hershey Region - bring you car(s) to Fall Hershey!
Will do Bruce as Fall Hershey is one heck of a show. Will talk about that when I see ya.......

Gettysburg Region would be a lot closer. They just had a regional show at Latimore  race track last Sat.

I think around a dozen at the Grand National: the ones you see in this thread from class 36 and a few more from class 27 -production cars.  There is no drivers participation class at the GN.  I'll know the exact number when National posts the results.
The white former drag racer was a really interesting car.

Hershey is only 4 to 5 miles farther than Gettysburg from where I'm at. Interesting as I was at Latimore race track last month! Great track that was saved and extremely nice race museum.
