I got this in the mail today.  From the Capitol chevrolet in Austin TX.  It used to have studs on the back but were broken off & adhesive applied.  This is just another piece to the puzzle on the 68.  Very happy

That is so cool!... I'm jealous.

I've been looking for stuff from Broncho Chevrolet Co. (Odessa, TX) but no luck so far.

Did the dealership you called send that to you Darrel?  OR did you find it elsewhere?    Regardless it looks neat, and will enhance your car.. :)

-Vellu,
That may not be the frame from the late 60's time period, I belive it is later 70's. Still nice to have, no one will even know. I think the ones from that period did not have a phone number but a location, lust like the PDF ad above. It looks like the phone number is different from the Ad.

No I havent heard a word from the dealership.  I called last week just to touch base with them and left a message and of course I still have heard nothing.  I got this from a guy over on yenko.net; he has a bunch of different ones and I just happen to see it in a post and pm'ed him about it and bought it from him.  Great guy and was happy to help out another car guy..

Those studs were actually for chroming/dipping purposes. Most chroming companies removed them after the process some dealers requested they leave them on.When I worked at a Chevrolet dealership a memorandum came down from GM to stop using pinned emblems the the trunklids were rusting from the drill holes and had to be repaired under warranty.Thats when the all emblems were to be doubleside taped.

You're right, not from the 60's. On the back side is production year and even month.
