No problem on the underside. my park brake cables have never been touched. I never touched the underside of the car during the restoration, only thing I did was run new exhaust and flush and bleed the brakes.

Also here is a picture of the my other classic, Its a 33 Ford Pickup with a 70 LT-1 350  out of a Z28 built really stout, th350 and a 12 bolt posi out of a 68 Camaro. Paint is a 3rd gen Camaro teal color. My grandfather built the truck before I was born, he painted it in is garage 25 years ago. About 5 years ago we redid the suspension and motor because it was tired after many years on the drag strip running 1/8th mile every Wednesday. Im now in the process of cleaning it up and getting it ready to completely blow apart to repaint it. it takes up more time now than the Camaro and the other projects at his house.

Great to have you here at CRG.  Your car is looking really good, but I think the coolest part of the whole thing is you worked on it together with your Grandfather.  There is nothing better than spending that time together bonding and handing down a love of cars from generation to generation.

  Kid.........that is one sweet ride for anyone. It's guys like you who will keep the 1st-Gens alive long after us geezers are gone. I'm 56 and got my first '68 Camaro in 1975 for graduating high school. LIke a dumbo I totalled it 6 years later. I've had my present '68 for 31 years--I got it in May of 1983. When the 1st-Gen bug bites, it bites hard. Good luck to you on your '68 and welcome!
