Anyone with 68 fan pics?

Hi:

Can anyone post post pics of their original fan in a 1968 396?  I want to check something before I get to thinking I may have something amiss.  A pic from around the wheel well of the passanger side would be perfect.

Hydraulic or Solid lifter and if hydraulic A/C or no A/C...

L78 so no ac and solids originally.  The cam has been changed to hydraulic but I believe the fan is still the original.

L78 and Z28 should be the same one.... Clil sold one on ebay last month... there was a discussion at length on Yenko.net

I can provide you with a picture taken from the passenger side wheel well of an original 1968, L78 with an original fan.  I have however begged, pleaded, and tried to politely remind of a need in this thread too   http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=1087.msg5970#msg5970 .  I will be glad to trade   What do you say?

Thanks for the offer on the pics.  I will take you up on this.  When i got my car the previous guy had blacked out the grille.  We replaced it with the chromed grille.  Pics attached.  I can not see any part numbers on the old grille.  Where are they located?

Here is the picture.  Hope it is what you were looking for.  Also, I would like to move the discussion regarding the grille to the thread (http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=1087.msg5970#msg5970) if we can so as to keep it all together.  I will copy your response and post it there; so if you don't mind respond there please.  The numbers are on the back of the headlight covers and we don't know if the center grille has a number on it.  Look on the top and bottom edge for us and see if you see one there.  Thanks a bunch Mark.  Oh, what is your build date and is your car  NOR or LOS?

Thanks for the pic.  It's exactly what i neede to know.  My car is  an 06C car built in Los Angeles.  I have provided some documentation to Kurt as it is a numbers matching L78 (not restamped) so he has a pic of the block stamp and the cowl tag.

I am checking this from work and I will check the other thread when i get home tonight.  I checked the headloght covers this morning but it was early and I don't drink coffee so maybe I overlooked the part numbers.  I'll look again.

The HL cover numbers are on the back side in the middle on mine and I think on Ed's and Les' too.  Thanks for taking another look.

I need to get a new disc for my camera so I can take a pc of mine.  I have a seven blade fan and I am notsure but I think it may be on backwards.  Don't know how the last guy would have done that because I think they are marked front and back.  I'll have to check it out closely if my old eyes can see it.
