L72 COPO block.  Originally out of Cincinnati area.  I have the engine. Just wondering if the car is out there somewhere.

Jimmy,

No, I am in NW Indiana, near Chicago.

I just bought this engine from a guy in the Cincinnati area.  Shipping records from NCRS show it was shipped to a dealership in Cincinnati.  The name escapes me right now, as the paperwork is at home.

I don't have anything on the car.
I remember the block was on ebay with a trans. Decked, but still a 427 block. Smiley

Here's the recent eBay listing with just the engine...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Chevy-Camaro-Copo-427-Engine-BBC-Big-Block-Chevy-427-425HP-4-Bolt-3963512-/331271686998?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=41drmaZU6q%252BehgCynaiEUk2RmZg%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

The seller, howard7539, was asking $12,500.00

I now own the engine.  Worked out a good deal.  Putting the engine into my Yenko clone.
