OK, I understand  the  explanation . When I get the pic thing figured out ill post the  VIN  and cowl  tag . There is so much to learn from on this sight . I have been doing a lot of reading  and when I get to articles of particular interest i E Mail them to myself  and put them in a file.
I am doing a restoration of a 69  SS L 48  that was taken apart in 79 two owners ago  and everyone here has been a great help.
Is the file size restriction why I can't get a pic on my profile as well  ?

  Thanks Rich

you can put up to 3 photos in each post, but each one has to be less than 150 KB, and the total cannot be greater than 400KB...    I take high resolution photos, and then use 'Light Image Digitizer' to reduce the image file to the appropriate size; it works super!.. (thanks again JohnZ for puttin me onto this tool)..

Yep, Rich, Yenko all-right. #9 made, Daytona Yellow, 4 speed. Sold by Hult Chev. Madison, Wisconsin. Looks like that was a good education investment using your student loan, that is.

You may want to get on this site as well Rich and post: http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/72581/1969_YENKO_CAMARO_VIN_LIST#Post72581

Oh, congrats on figuring out the pic thing! I remember my own breakthrough moment of posting pics, really makes it easier for others to see, literally, what you are trying to describe.

I prefer to upload photos from my PC because once uploaded they should remain. A number of pages have links to photos on services like photobucket. When the service account (for instance photobucket) closes, the photo disappears from this site.

The problem is the size pics allowed on this site are too small.

Thanks Charley, I was thinking the same thing . I appreciate all of the help with the work arounds from everyone and Toms comment. That explains why there are so many empty picture references, I did find on Photobucket were you select thumbnail IMGs and I tried to use that for my profile but it still didn't take. I can down load it to the test page and here  :o

Hi Rich here's my eight steps to down size your picture's to CRG.  1.Click on your pictures in Windows live photo gallery, in your pic file. 2. Click on the pic you want to resize. 3. Click "edit" upper lift hand conner. 5. click "edit" again, this will bring down a list of options. 6. click on "resize" 7. This will down size a second copy of your pic to windows photo gallery. 8. Now you can send the down sized pic to CRG and the original pic is still high res. in the photo gallery. There may be many ways to do this but this works for me. Terry

Look at the size of the box where the avatar goes and look at the pic you posted above.
The software *should* be able to handle that, but it's had problems with this for some reason.

IMO, that photo is really busy, hard to tell what you are trying to show. I cropped it and uploaded it for you. Hope that's OK.  :)
