Removing the copper ferrules on the 69 parking lights
« on: February 16, 2014, 03:17:21 AM »
Hello all ,what a wonderful sight!!!  I want to replate the parking lights but would like to remove the copper ferrules to do so. They look like they are crimped in place with a small notch or tab. I have seen restoration pictures with them separated. I know I can get them apart but don't want to mess them up plus I have to get them back in correctly.
Are there replacement studs for this light housing, two of mine were broke
When this one was taken apart in 1979.
   Thank you, Rich
