1970 Mid Ohio Trans Am Color Photographs

(1/3) > >>

SMKZ28:
Here is a nice collection of 17 color and 2 black and white photographs taken at both the Trans Am races that took place at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio on June 7, 1970.  You can tell that a few of the photos were taken in practice sessions prior to the race because of the data acquisition items seen on some of the cars as well as the lack of crowd in the background.  Like the photos I posted from 1967 and 1968, these were also dispersed throughout the over 3,000 photogrpahs in the Ohio Valley Region of the SCCA's historical photo gallery.  Unfortunately, there is no information about who took or submitted these photos either.

For those that want to see the other historic photos of other forms of motorsports click here and prepare to spend some quality time with the photos: http://gallery.ovr-scca.org/?Dir=%2FHistorical
