1969 Z28 Burnished Brown
« on: December 31, 2020, 01:57:23 AM »
Hi all, I'm not an expert in the details of these cars but I've been trying to educate myself as much as possible thru this forum. The depth of knowledge is amazing and the site has been very helpful. Wondered what the group thinks about this car for sale on Marketplace? https://www.facebook.com/groups/221584371334721/user/100000761212265/
I'm going to look at the car tomorrow and would appreciate any advice/recommendations. Thanks for your help. Also have these pics to add.

Vague on the rear axle, casting # does not mean much. Code stamping is front/center on the pass side axle tube. Example, BU0203 G [Feb 3].

Also check for correct YH wheels. Stamped on both sides of the valve stem, have to remove trim rings. Example, K19 1 ☼ 11 YH [Jan 11].

Michigan car for some time, watch for rust repair. Check for speedo cable exiting under the wiper motor, small plate welded to left rear frame rail behind tire to mount tail pipe hanger.

No red flags. Decent car, fairly priced.

Thanks for the feedback. Did not purchase the car but it was sold to someone local so it will stay in Michigan.
