dash pad

I am not real crazy about my dash pad. It appears pretty wavey along the bottom side in front of the passenger seat. The side along windshield has seperated in a couple places. The warpage is my biggest concern. I would like to keep a gm dash pad in it but are most going to have this problem? Is it heat/sun related or can this happen with nos ones? My car may have sat out in its life.

Hey Bill,

I had a similar issue with mine, with it separating and then looking wavy. I went ahead and used a sparing amount of gorilla glue with some carefully placed rags and large plastic clamps. I worked from one side of the dash to the other. Every day I would work a little farther down, trying to get it tight. Looks good now. I am sure there is more than one way to do it.
