New to CRG so I apologize if I read the meaning of this section. I own the car N553530 on the 69 orphans list. Does that mean someone has listed missing components from my car?

The original Protect-O-Plate (a very important piece of documentation) for your car is still out there!

Check out this thread...  http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=8865.0

It appears Bob (513-248-4400) in Milford, OH still has it!

CALL HIM NOW!   Smiley

Also, if your Camaro has it's original drivetrain, these are the numbers that should be stamped on the engine, transmission and rear axle...

Engine assembly code:  T1126HA
Transmission assembly code:  P9S18
Rear axle assembly code:  BT1122G

If you have the original POP, it will have the information on the original owner..

If you didn't purchase the P.O.P. one of the guys here might have an image of it that shows the original owner, or you could contact that guy that had it for sale and ask him the name on it.

If you didn't buy the POP, you should..  I'd pay quite a bit for the original POP for my car if it were to turn up...  Smiley

I'd start by looking up Jack L. on ZabaSearch and see if he is still around.

Can you post or send me a pic of your trim tag when you get a chance?

Kurt,

I assume you were asking Millo to send you his trim tag pix?

(you've got mine in your email).  Smiley

Skyler, post a picture of the numbers stamped on the pad of the engine when you can.  Hopefully the engine that showed up is the original one with the original stamped numbers - and not a restamp.
