Can someone take a look at the Z10 on ebay and give me their opinion on the cowl tag? This car looks interesting to me and is not to far away. Any comments or questions would be appreciated, Thanks

No vin, floor appears to have been patched with an auto tunnel, its heater delete but with welded in blank firewall..  Tag looks ok (but would like to see a better bigger pic) but I have my doubts about the engine & trans.  Liked to see the vin and hidden vin (at least on the top of the cowl.  Too many ?? at this point..

I think what was meant is since no Vin is provided, it makes it hard to compare with Trim Tag body build # and date aligning. My first thought is if someone is so knowledgeable about the Z10 option, why can't he verify if the drivetrain is # matching? Seems that he leaves out just enough info to make me want to question car.i am not saying it is fake, because there is not enough info, but as knowledgeable as the owner seems...just saying.

It's also listed on the Riverside, CA Craigslist for $35k, but before that it was listed for $33k so his price has gone up!

In my opinion, it's not worth half that.

By the way, the VIN is 124379N634632 and it's been on ebay several times since 2006.

"Mid restoration Z10 needing paint touch up and very few miscellaneous parts to complete"

36,500 seems a bit steep for a non assembled car, needing just some paint touch up and a few miscellaneous parts to complete.  I see a complete paint job, and nothing but parts in boxes.  In the condition its in he's about 15K high.

When it was on ebay back in 06, it was just a rolling shell that had been partially restored and painted. No engine or transmission mentioned.

Thanks for all the info on this car Ed. What a website where you can inquire about a potential purchase, and be told the last 7 years of buy/sell history!!
I have seen Kurt do this as well for engines, and besides a great aid to our members, just plain impressive. WTG CRG!

It was an AC car. Was said to have been raced and had no trans or engine, but appeared to have been a BB.
But on a Z10 or Z11, BB is hard to prove.
Car has gone from MO to MI to TX to CA - still hasn't found a home.
